About Me
I retired from my elementary school teaching career and I guess you could say I flunked retirement! I have a master’s degree in Instructional Design Technology and I am a National Board Certified Teacher. Since I moved to Moab in 2012 I have looked for different ways to stay active and serve in the community.
I sit on the Moonflower Market Community Coop board of directors and I volunteer for many local events. I’m on the starting line crew for three Moab half marathons, I help park cars for the Moab Music Festival concerts, I have been a costumer’s assistant for the Moab Community Theater, I help staff the “housing” table at the Grand County middle school “Reality Town” day, I’m on the clean-up crew for holiday community dinners, and one of my favorite volunteer jobs is Salvation Army bell ringing outside of City Market during the holiday season.
Living in Moab is the perfect place for me to enjoy recreational hiking, river rafting, and skiing.
